The patron of our school Saint Clement of Ohrid was one of the Slav enlighteners – St. Cyril and Methodius’ disciples. He was a mediaeval writer, scholar and the first archbishop who preached in Old Church Slavonic. The Orthodox Church reveres him as one of the St. Sedmochislenitsi (Cyril and Methodius and their five disciples).
